R. Patterson (“Pat”) Jackson is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Sabal Financial Group, L.P.,(“Sabal Financial”), a diversified financial services management firm headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif. He is responsible for the direction, management and business development activities of the company and oversees strategic business initiatives in support of the financial services practice. Under Pat’s leadership, Sabal Financial has acquired nearly $8.2 billion in assets on behalf of its clients and investors and has grown to include offices in 12 locations across the United States and Europe.
Kevin R. McKenzie is Head of Investments for Sabal Financial and leads Acquisitions, Portfolio Management and Servicing for Sabal Financial’s national real estate portfolio. With more than 25 years’ real estate experience, Kevin has served as a developer, principal investor, advisor, investment banker and architect, working on more than $3.5 billion of property investments involving multifamily, industrial, office and retail properties. He provides extensive executive management, acquisition, development, asset management and capital markets/workout expertise.
John A. Bogler is Chief Financial Officer of Sabal Financial and is responsible for providing strategic leadership in all aspects of the organization’s financial operations. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, with expertise in cross-functional team building, corporate and operational consolidation, financial and capital planning, budgeting and enterprise risk management.
Boyega O. Adelekan is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Sabal Financial Group, L.P. and oversees the legal aspects of Sabal’s corporate and business operations with a focus on providing legal efficiency and effectiveness to support Sabal’s multi-faceted financial services platform.
Jason Hull is the Head of Business Development and Term Loan Production for Sabal Financial. He is directly responsible for growing all areas of Sabal Financial’s business, including the firm’s lending platform, commercial real estate investments, and all types of third party services.
Jason brings an extensive background in the management and disposition of more than $5 billion of distressed real estate. Previously, he directed the commercial real estate and business development efforts at Trigild Inc., a San Diego-based distressed real estate firm, where he lead efforts to grow the commercial division, opening offices in Phoenix, San Francisco, Houston, Ft. Lauderdale and Washington, D.C. Jason launched Trigild’s commercial property management division, which today manages over 15 million square feet of commercial property and 5,000 apartment and self-storage units.
Vartan Derbedrossian directs all loan servicing functions at Sabal Financial. He has 15 years of experience in the banking industry, including loan servicing, retail banking, asset management, liquidation management, risk management, policy administration and lending operations. Prior to joining Sabal Financial, he led asset management for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) Satellite Office in Irvine, Calif., serving as a voting member of the Credit Review Committee for all receiverships in the western region of the United States. In addition, he participated and led the resolution activities of a number of the largest failed banks.
Matthew Stoehr serves as Chief Information Officer of Sabal Financial, and is responsible for the strategic direction, development and daily operations of technology solutions for the company. Joining Sabal Financial in 2014, Matthew brings a diverse skillset stemming from his experience in the real estate and technology industries. During his 20 years of experience, he has developed leading edge technology for the real estate industry while ensuring that services are continually improved and supported for customers, shareholders and employees.
Sarah Suther is Chief Credit Officer of Sabal Financial and is responsible for leading the loan credit activities of Sabal’s lending platform in the areas of financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management. In addition, she provides guidance to the lending group, underwriters and analysts with respect to the company’s credit policy and compliance with lending regulations.
